When you reserve a charter or make use of our Service, you consent to abide by these Terms. Should you not agree with any segment of these terms, then accessing the Service is not permitted for you.

2. Service Overview

SteadyStateCommons offers an array of high-end yacht chartering services which include, but are not restricted to:

  • Daily yacht rentals
  • Sunset cruises
  • Corporate retreats
  • Private events
  • Multi-day charters

Each service is conditioned upon availability and the prevailing weather conditions. We maintain the right to alter or discontinue any service without prior notification.

3. Booking and Reservations

3.1 Booking Process

For reserving a charter, the following requirements must be met:

  • Attainment of the age of 18 years or older
  • Submission of correct and complete personal details
  • Settlement of the deposit as stated in the booking confirmation
  • Acceptance of these Terms & Conditions

3.2 Confirmation

Confirmation of your reservation is contingent upon our receipt of your payment and a confirmation in writing from us. Service to anyone can be denied at our sole discretion.

3.3 Availability

Each charter is dependent on the vessel's availability and suitable climatic conditions. We promise to make all reasonable attempts to honour your desired dates and times.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Pricing

All quoted pricing is in € and encompasses any relevant taxes, unless specified otherwise. Price alterations are subject to change without any advance warning.

4.2 Payment Schedule

  • Deposit: A requisite of 50% of the entire cost of the charter at the time of booking
  • Balance: Due a minimum of 48 hours before the scheduled departure of the charter
  • Additional fees (if any): Due upon the close of the charter

4.3 Payment Methods

We accept a variety of payment options, including major credit cards, bank transfers, and certified cheques. Secure and encrypted systems are employed for payment processing.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1 Customer Cancellations

  • If canceled more than 72 hours before departure: Entire payment refunded, less any processing costs
  • Between 24-72 hours prior to departure: A refund of half the amount
  • If less than 24 hours before departure: Non-refundable

5.2 Weather Cancellations

In instances where the captain deems weather conditions as unsafe, we offer the following options:

  • Reschedule your trip to an alternative available date at no extra cost
  • Issue a full refund if rescheduling is not feasible

5.3 Mechanical Issues

Should there be any mechanical failures with the vessel you are assigned, we will strive to provide an appropriate replacement. If an alternative is not available, a complete refund will be issued.

6. Safety and Conduct

6.1 Safety Requirements

It is mandatory for all guests to:

  • Adhere to instructions given by the crew
  • Use the provided safety gear when necessitated
  • Inform of any health conditions that may impact their safety or the safety of others
  • Stay within the areas designated on the vessel

6.2 Prohibited Items

The subsequent items are prohibited on board:

  • Glass containers
  • Illegal substances
  • Firearms or weapons
  • Excess non-alcoholic drinks (beyond a reasonable volume for personal consumption)
  • Pets (unless granted prior approval)

6.3 Conduct

Guests are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that is courteous and respectful. A charter can be terminated prematurely without any refund if a passenger's behavior is deemed to be a safety threat or it interferes with the enjoyment of other passengers.

7. Liability and Insurance

7.1 Our Liability

Our financial responsibility shall be limited to the sum paid for the charter by you. We are not liable for:

  • Injuries to oneself resulting from personal negligence
  • The loss or damage of personal belongings
  • Any type of indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Delays prompted by weather or events outside our sphere of influence

7.2 Insurance Coverage

Comprehensive marine insurance is maintained, covering our fleet and operations. Responsibility for obtaining travel and personal insurance lies with the passengers.

7.3 Assumption of Risk

By taking part in our charter services, you agree to the inherent risks involved in such marine activities and accept responsibility for your own security and safety.

8. Modifications and Itinerary Changes

We reserve the privilege to modify itineraries, pathways, or timelines based on considerations of weather, safety, or operational demands. We will make every effort to provide an equivalent alternative experience.

9. Force Majeure

For events that are beyond our control, such as severe weather conditions, natural disasters, government orders, closures of ports, or mechanical breakdowns, we are not accountable for any delays, cancellations, or changes.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

The handling of your personal data will be in compliance with our Privacy Policy. Utilizing our services signifies your agreement with the collection and application of your data as detailed in the Privacy Policy.

11. Intellectual Property
